Policies & Terms

Please read these policies carefully. By booking with LIMO LAX you agree to the terms outlined below.

Summary: Free cancellation up to 2 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 2 hours are charged 50%. No-shows are charged in full.

Free Cancellation Window

All reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time. No cancellation fee will be applied and any pre-authorized hold will be released within 3–5 business days.

Late Cancellation Fee

Cancellations made less than 2 hours before pickup will be charged 50% of the total trip fare. This fee covers the driver's time, fuel, and the inability to reassign the vehicle on short notice.

No-Show Policy

A no-show occurs when the client cannot be reached or located within 15 minutes of the driver's arrival at the pickup location. In the event of a no-show:

  • The full trip fare will be charged to the card on file
  • The driver will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time
  • Dispatch will attempt to contact the client via phone, SMS, and WhatsApp during the wait period

Flight Delays

LIMO LAX monitors all incoming flights in real time. If your flight is delayed, no additional charges apply — your driver will adjust automatically. There is no need to call dispatch for flight delays.

For flight cancellations or significant schedule changes, please contact dispatch at (747) 444-6402 as soon as possible.

How to Cancel

To cancel a reservation:

  • Reply to your booking confirmation message

Cancellations are only confirmed when acknowledged by a LIMO LAX representative. Please do not assume the reservation is cancelled until you receive confirmation.

Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days and returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

Corporate & Contract Accounts

Corporate accounts with signed service agreements may be subject to different cancellation terms as outlined in their individual contracts. Please refer to your service agreement or contact your account manager.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of LIMO LAX transportation services and the booklimolax.com website. By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

LIMO LAX is a licensed ground transportation company operating in Los Angeles, California. We provide private chauffeur services including airport transfers, hourly service, corporate transportation, and special event transfers using luxury vehicles.

LIMO LAX operates as a booking platform connecting clients with professional, vetted chauffeurs. All drivers are licensed, insured, and trained to LIMO LAX standards.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Reservations are confirmed only after receipt of valid payment information
  • Your card is saved securely via Stripe — no charge is applied until dispatch confirms your booking
  • Prices are fixed and all-inclusive. No surge pricing, no hidden fees
  • Tips are optional and go 100% to your driver
  • Add-on services (meet & greet, extra stops, child seats) are charged at the rates displayed at booking

3. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup and dropoff addresses at time of booking
  • Be ready at the designated pickup location at the scheduled time
  • Notify dispatch of any changes at least 2 hours in advance
  • Treat drivers with respect — aggressive or abusive behavior will result in immediate trip termination without refund
  • No smoking, eating, or alcohol consumption in vehicles without prior authorization

4. Driver Communication Policy

All communication regarding trip changes, cancellations, or complaints must go through LIMO LAX dispatch at (747) 444-6402. Clients should not contact drivers directly before or after the trip.

5. Liability & Insurance

All LIMO LAX vehicles carry commercial transportation insurance as required by California law. LIMO LAX is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen road conditions
  • Items left in vehicles (contact dispatch within 24 hours for lost items)
  • Flight delays or missed connections when driver arrival was on time
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

6. Vehicle & Passenger Policy

  • Maximum passenger count is the vehicle capacity stated at booking
  • All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times
  • Child safety seats must be requested at time of booking (additional fee applies)
  • Service animals are welcome. Pets in carriers are permitted with advance notice

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

8. Changes to Terms

LIMO LAX reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — LIMO LAX does not store card numbers

  • IP address and browser type when visiting our website
  • Pages viewed and time spent on site
  • Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To confirm and fulfill your reservations
  • To send booking confirmations, driver updates, and trip status notifications
  • To process payments and handle refunds
  • To improve our services and website experience
  • To communicate promotional offers (only with your consent)
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Assigned drivers: Name and phone number shared for trip coordination
  • Stripe: Payment processing (governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy)
  • Resend: Email delivery service
  • Law enforcement: When required by law or court order

Driver access: Drivers are provided with your first name and phone number only. They do not have access to your email, payment details, or full address history.

4. Data Retention

We retain booking records for 3 years for accounting and legal purposes. Communication records are kept for 1 year. You may request deletion of your data at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).

5. Your Rights (California CCPA)

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal data we collect and how it is used
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, secure database storage (Supabase), and PCI-compliant payment processing (Stripe). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we implement all reasonable safeguards.

7. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies for functionality (session management, language preference). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
